A Card Inspired By Indian Rangoli....!!

Hi...Today i am sharing a card which took almost 14 Hrs in total 4 days....yes this time i am up with a quilled card which i made for Indira Tanwar's Mega Celebration Challenge#2where the challenge is to make a card, preferably a New Year greeting, using Indian motifs in some or the other form, like, a Mehendi design, Rangoli, Mandala, etc....and is inspired by Our very traditional Indian Rangoli Pattern...and the technique(Paper Curling technique) i used is inspired by a very talented crafter and a master of this art...yes she is none other than Gunjan Alyawadi...she has done amazing work n creations using this technique and with all her permission i tried it...i know its not as perfect as hers but this is my very first attempt and i must say that i thoroughly enjoyed making this.
The Rangoli pattern is hand drew...and the sentiment is also hand written..:) Colors are also very Indian keeping in mind the theme...added foam tape and transparency to keep it safe while shipping as we have to post it to the participant next to us...!!
Followed the Retro sketch (with a little twist) -

Here it is -

Some closer views....

Hope u all enjoyed it...If u want to ask any thing then feel free and drop a msg in comment box...Thanks for stopping By and leaving some love to me...!!

Hugs..
Shalu.
